Details:
Lecturer on Surgery at the Liverpool School of Medicine, and Hon Surgeon to the Liverpool Northern Hospital, where at the time of his death on April 2nd, 1863, he was Consulting Surgeon. He was one of the signatories in association with Henry Stubbs (qv) to refute an attack on the Liverpool Northern Hospital, entitled – “Reply from the Surgeons of the Liverpool Northern Hospital to a pamphlet, published by J P Halton, one of the Surgeons of the Liverpool Infirmary”. Published in revised edition, London, 1844.
