Practised as a surgeon in Pall Mall (No 9, and later No 53). His death occurred before July 19th, 1847. He was a Member of the Medico-Chirurgical Society.

“On the United Siamese Twins,” 4to, plate, London, 1830; reprinted from *Phil. Trans*. He there dates from 3 King Street, St James’s Square. The copy of the tract in the Library of the Royal College of Surgeons is inscribed by him, “Dr Stroud with the Author’s best respects.”
