Was for many years Surgeon to the Gloucester Infirmary (County Hospital), where until his retirement he took the lead as an operator. He was also at one time Surgeon to the Gloucestershire Yeomanry Cavalry. He was described as a man of excellent heart and generous disposition. His death occurred at his residence, Wellington Parade, Gloucester, on May 11th, 1853.
