Born on Oct 13th, 1781; entered the Army as Surgeon's Mate on Nov 20th, 1803, was gazetted Assistant Surgeon to the 16th Foot on May 1st, 1805, Surgeon to the 3rd West India Regiment on March 3rd, 1808, was transferred to the 13th Foot on Sept 26th, 1816, and retired on half pay on Nov 21st, 1816. He saw active service at Surinam in 1804, at Guadeloupe in 1810, and in the United States in 1814. He died in Liverpool on Oct 10th, 1846.
