Details:
Frank Ellis was a consultant surgeon in Darlington and Northallerton. He studied medicine in Durham, qualifying MB BS in 1948 and gained his FRCS in 1955.
Prior to his consultant appointment, he was a registrar at the Newcastle Regional Thoracic Surgical Centre and a senior surgical registrar at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle, and at University College Hospital, London.
He was a member of the North of England Surgical Society.
Frank Ellis died on 8 June 2005.
