Studied at Guy's Hospital and practised first at Boston, Lincolnshire, where he was Surgeon to the Boston District Great Northern Railway, and to the 'Lock-up' and House of Correction, Shirbeck; next at 34 King Street, Holborn; after that at Ketton in Rutlandshire, where he died on May 11th, 1880.
