Details:
Born October 15th, 1807. Entered the Madras Army as Assistant Surgeon on March 26th, 1833, was promoted to Surgeon on February 20th, 1850, to Surgeon Major on January 13th, 1860, to Deputy Inspector-General of Hospitals on March 1st, 1863. He retired on December 31st, 1868, and lived at 63 Wellesley Road, Croydon, where he died on December 3rd, 1897.
