Studied in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and London, and practised at Oak House, Enfield, Middlesex, until about 1860, when he returned to Scotland and practised at Hillside, Montrose, and then at Newton Panbride, Forfarshire. He died in 1871 or 1872.
