Details:
Appointed a temporary Assistant Surgeon in the Bengal Army on April 8th, 1819, for which he was definitely nominated on January 31st, 1821. He was promoted Surgeon on December 17th, 1832, retired on January 1st, 1846, and died on May 25th, 1860. He was one of the twenty-nine members of the IMS to be elected Fellows on August 26th, 1844.
