Details:
Born on November 2nd, 1818, and entered the Bombay Army as Assistant Surgeon on January 5th, 1841, being promoted to Surgeon on May 10th, 1854, to Surgeon Major on January 5th, 1861, to Deputy Inspector of Hospitals on March 31st, 1867, and to Surgeon General on February 28th, 1874. He retired on September 15th, 1877. He resided for many years in St Helier's, Jersey, and died on June 11th, 1904, leaving no family.
