Details:
Born on February 8th, 1883, the only son of Edward Treves, MRCS, of The Drive, Hove, Sussex, and of Mary Warwick, his wife. He entered Marlborough in January, 1896, when the Rev G C Bell was head master, and left in midsummer, 1901. He matriculated from Caius College, Cambridge, on October 1st, 1904, and graduated BA in 1904 after being placed in the 3rd class of Part I of the Natural Science Tripos. He then entered the London Hospital, where he served the office of House Surgeon. For a time he was in practice with his father at 2 The Drive, Hove, but on the outbreak of the European War joined the RAMC (T), attained the rank of Major and was decorated OBE for his services. He then retired and returned to civil practice at 20 Medina Villas, Hove. He died at 49 Gloucester Terrace, London, W, on May 18th, 1920.
