Studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital and practised at Carey Hall, Hurstpierpoint, Sussex, where he was a Surgeon to the Royal Sussex Militia Artillery, and to St John's College; Medical Officer to the Cuckfield Union; a Certifying Factory Surgeon; and at the time of his death Deputy Lieutenant for Sussex. He died on December 3rd, 1880.
