Details:
Educated at St George's Hospital. From 1832-1842 he was Lecturer on Anatomy and Surgery at the Great Windmill Street School (Theatre of Anatomy), as well as Surgeon to the Marylebone General Dispensary. He then practised at Harewood, Leeds, and latterly at 34 Croom's Hill, Greenwich. He was an honorary member of the Medical Society of London and Corresponding Member of the Medico-Chirurgical Society. He died at Croom's Hill on March 23rd, 1886. Publications: "Treatment of Delirium Tremens."- *Med and Phys Jour*, 1829, xs, vi, 9 (under the name of J SMITH).
