Educated at Guy's Hospital, became House Surgeon to the Nottingham Dispensary, and afterwards Surgeon to the Hospital and Dispensary at Clayton, Yorkshire. He was President of the Yorkshire Branch of the British Medical Association and was a Justice of the Peace for the City of Wakefield. He died at Ruandean, Gloucestershire, on April 17th, 1928.
