Details:
Son of Fredrik Theodor Berg, physician and head of the central statistics bureau, Stockholm. He succeeded Rossanders as professor of surgery at the Caroline Institute, Stockholm in 1893, married in 1881 Marie Louise, daughter of his master Carl Gustav Santesson, and died on 21 August 1931. He wrote on the treatment of ectopia vesicae in *Surg Gynec Obstet*. 1907, 5, 461. There is a portrait of him in the Honorary Fellows' album in the College library.
