Details:
Born at Stanstead, Quebec in 1878, he was educated at McGill University, Montreal. After qualifying in 1904 he settled in practice at Calgary, Alberta, where he remained throughout his career, becoming a prominent citizen as well as a distinguished surgeon. He took the Fellowship in the summer of 1914; he was subsequently admitted a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada at its foundation. Lincoln was surgeon to the General Hospital and the Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary, president of the Alberta Medical Association, and a member of the board of executives of the Canadian Medical Association. He started the local chapter of the Victorian Order of Nurses, was Chairman of Calgary Public Library, and an alderman of the city council. He died at Calgary on 16 December 1950 aged 72.
