Details:
Cyril Wace was educated at King's College Hospital and qualified with the Conjoint Diploma in 1893. When he was appointed house surgeon at King's Joseph Lister was still the senior surgeon at the hospital. He took the FRCS in 1897 and became honorary consultant surgeon to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester. Later he emigrated to Canada, and worked at the hospital of the Department of Veteran's Affairs in Victoria, British Columbia.
When Wace died aged 95 on 3 April 1966 he was the Senior Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
