Details:
Bimal Kumar Moulik was born at Nagara Birblum, Bengal, India, on 1 April 1935. He was educated at the Scottish Universities Institution, Kalimpong, Viddyasagar College, Suri, and the Medical College, Calcutta. He graduated MB BS Calcutta in 1957, MS Delhi 1962 and FRCS 1968.
He was honorary lecturer in surgery at the Institution of Medical Sciences, New Delhi 1965-1969, Assistant Professor of Surgery 1969-1973 and then consulting surgeon at the General Hospital, Hooghly, West Bengal. He married Dipa Biswas in 1963 and they had two sons. He died on 29 December 1975.
