Details:
Roger Lester Williams studied medicine at Cambridge, St Bartholomew's Hospital and Vienna. He held the post of clinical assistant at St Peter's Hospital for Stone and was resident surgical officer at the Sheffield Royal Infirmary. At Bart's he became senior house surgeon. He was a member of the BMA and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He died in 1974.
