Details:
Little is known about the life and career of Mowaffak Tawfeek Mahmood. After obtaining his Fellowship in 1967, he lived and worked in Baghdad, where in 1980 he served in the orthopaedic department of the Rasheed Military Hospital. Not even the date of his death can be established with certainty. Dr M Habbouche FRCS on visiting the College in 1983 said that Mahmood had died in 'about 1981'.
