Details:
Nikhendu Majindar qualified MB BS Calcutta in 1960. Coming to Britain he gained the Fellowship of the Edinburgh College in 1967 and the following year obtained the English Fellowship.
Moving to Canada, he practised at Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan, from 1973 and worked at the Porcupine Carragana Union Hospital and the Arborfield Union Hospital.
He died suddenly of a heart attack on 22 April 1985, survived by his wife and two sons aged 21 and 15. His death was deeply mourned by the local community.
