Details:
Miles Kingsmill Moore was a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon at Ashford Hospital, Middlesex and Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot. He was born in Dublin in September 1929 and studied medicine at Trinity College, Dublin, qualifying in 1953.
He was a surgical registrar at Luton and Dunstable Hospital and then a senior orthopaedic registrar at St George's Hospital, London and Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Hospital, Pyrford. He subsequently became a consultant at Ashford and Heatherwood hospitals.
Miles Kingsmill Moore died on 2 June 2015. He was 85. He was survived by his widow Ann, three sons, Alex, Hugh and David, and grandchildren Mia, Heath, Amelie, Charlie, Ellen, Chloe, Omar and Laith.
