Details:
Little can be discovered about Allan Richmond Cockerell. He qualified MB ChB New Zealand in 1945; coming to Britain he gained his FRCS in 1950. Returning to New Zealand he obtained the Fellowship of the Australian College in 1961. Specialising in orthopaedics, he practised in Wanganui and in Tango. His death was reported to the College in 1996 as having occurred on 17 February 1994.
