Plastic surgeon


Grocott received his medical education at Guy's Hospital Medical School, whence he qualified with the conjoint diploma and the London MB BS in 1933, and obtained his Fellowship in 1935. Thereafter he practised as a plastic surgeon at the Harlow Wood Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary before working as a consultant in his specialty at the North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary and the Haywood Hospital, Burslem before becoming consultant plastic surgeon at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry. He retired to the Isle of Man in 1988 and died either late in 1995 or early in 1996.
