Details:
Muller studied medicine at the Ceylon Medical College, gaining its LMS in 1934 before coming to Britain and gaining the MB BS in 1938 and the Fellowship in 1941. In Ceylon he was surgeon in charge of the orthopaedic clinic in Colombo, while in Britain he was senior registrar at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and orthopaedic consultant to the Ministry of Health. He published several papers on orthopaedic topics in the *Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery* and the *Ceylon Medical Journal*. He retired at the end of 1982 and died on 7 December 1996, survived by his wife.
