Details:
Manackwe Oryema was educated at Mulago Medical School, Kampala, and qualified MB ChB at Makerere University in 1974. On coming to Britain he obtained both the College Fellowship and that of the Edinburgh College in 1980 and gained the Glasgow Fellowship in the following year. Thereafter he moved to Northern Ireland and practised in Belfast and Londonderry. His death was reported to the College as having occurred on 17 October 1996.
