Scott was born in 1903 in Australia and received his medical education at the University of Sydney. He obtained his Fellowship in 1947, and thereafter the Medical Directory gives his address as practising in Tunbridge Wells, where he was listed as being retired in 1971. He later returned to Australia , living at Turramurra, NSW, where he died on 10 March 1995 aged 92, survived by his son, Mr R A Scott.
