Details:
Francis Hall qualified in New Zealand in 1948, and after doing junior posts came to England to specialise in surgery. Having passed the FRCS in 1953, he did a number of registrar jobs before returning to New Zealand to practice. He retired to Papatoetoe, near Auckland in the North Island, where he died in January 2002.
