Details:
Janakiram came to England to specialise in surgery after his medical education in Madras, and worked for a time as a registrar at the Ealing Hospital, Middlesex. He then went to practice in the Bahamas where he became senior registrar in surgery at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau. He died on 20 December 1998.
