Details
The son of Jeremiah Vaux, whom he succeeded as Surgeon to the General Hospital, Birmingham, an office held by Dr Jeremiah Vaux from the foundation of the institution. Bowyer Vaux held office from 1808-1843. He died at Teignmouth, South Devon, where he had resided for seventeen years, on Saturday, May 4th, 1872.
