Details

He joined the Bengal Army as Assistant Surgeon on Oct 1st, 1804, was promoted Surgeon on Nov 29th, 1816, saw service at the siege and storm of Bharatpur, 1825-1826, was promoted Superintending Surgeon on Jan 21st, 1831, and retired on Sept 1st, 1835. He lived later in Montagu Square, London, and died in 1858, one of the last members of the old Corporation.
