At one time Assistant Surgeon in the Royal Navy to the Royal Naval Hospital, Plymouth, and the Portsmouth Division of the Royal Marines. He settled in practice at Ramsgate, where he became Surgeon to the Ramsgate Dispensary. At his death on June 17th, 1861, he was in partnership with Henry Curling (qv).
