Details
A native of Essex. Educated at St Bartholomew’s Hospital; acted as House Surgeon at the Essex and Colchester Hospital, and afterwards practised at 113 High Street, Bordesley, Birmingham, becoming a Director of the Birmingham Medical Benevolent Society. He retired to Leamington in 1870, and was an active member of the Warneford Hospital Committee and a member of the Jephson Gardens Committee, where his knowledge of botany was of much service. He died at Barham House, Leamington, on May 21st, 1885.
