Details
Educated at Guy’s Hospital; was Demonstrator of Anatomy at Grainger’s School, and of Morbid Anatomy at St Thomas’s Hospital. He was for many years a medical and surgical tutor, or, as it was then called, ‘a grinder’, living at 15 St Thomas’s Street, Southwark. He retired to Hollybank Cottage, St John’s, Woking, and died there on Christmas Day, 1878.
