Details
Born in June, 1817, and entered the Bengal Army as Assistant Surgeon on December 30th, 1843, being promoted Surgeon on July 9th, 1857, and Surgeon Major on December 30th, 1863. He went through the Mutiny (1857-1858), being present during the operations in Oudh (Medal with Clasp). Latterly he was attached to the 8th Bengal Cavalry. He died at Saquali, Champarun District, India, on September 27th, 1866.
