Was at one time, before 1827, Lecturer on Midwifery at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and Surgeon to the Finsbury Midwifery Institution. He was practising at Barton-under-Needwood near Lichfield in 1837, and died there on October 3rd, 1869. He was a member of the Medical and Physical Society at Edinburgh and a Fellow of the Medico-Chirurgical Society of London.
