Educated at the London Hospital. At the time of his death he was District Medical Officer of the Romford Union and Surgeon to St Leonard's School, as well as Medical Referee to the London Metropolitan Assurance Society. He practised at Brentwood, Essex, and died there on September 30th, 1871.
