Details
Educated at Guy's Hospital. He practised at 73 Church Street, Stoke Newington, and was at one time Surgeon to the Warehousemen's and Travellers' Provident Association and to the Asylum for Fatherless Children. He was a member of the Hunterian Society. His death occurred after his retirement, on September 4th, 1893. His portrait is in the Fellows' Album. Publications: Cooke translated Hecker's "Child Pilgrimages" for one of the editions of *The Epidemics of the Middle Ages*. "The Epidemic Mental Diseases of Children." - *Psychical Jour.*, 1853.
