Details
Was gazetted a Hospital Assistant to the Forces on March 7th, 1814. He served in the campaign in the United States in 1814; was Assistant Surgeon of the 67th Regiment of Foot on December 23rd, 1824; served in the Burmese War in 1826; was promoted Surgeon (7th Foot) on March 13th, 1885, and Staff Surgeon (1st Class) on October 9th, 1846. He became Deputy Inspector-General of Hospitals on August 14th, 1852; Inspector-General on October 27th, 1854, and retired on half pay on January 25th, 1856. He died in London on December 4th, 1858.
