Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he died at an early age on February 25th, 1868. At the time of his death he was Surgeon to the Royal General Dispensary in St Bartholomew's Close, and a member of the Pathological Society. He had previously been Surgeon to the Islington Dispensary and Assistant Medical Officer at Colney Hatch. His photograph is in one of the College Albums.
