Details
Edward Llewelyn Havard-Jones was a consultant general surgeon in Neath and Port Talbot, and a clinical assistant in the department of genitourinary surgery, United Cardiff Hospitals. He studied medicine at Oxford, qualifying BM BCh in 1942. He was a house surgeon at Hammersmith Hospital, London, and the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, and then a senior registrar in Oxford before he was appointed to his consultant post. He was chairman of the Mid Glamorgan division of the British Medical Association. Edward Llewelyn Havard-Jones died at home on 24 July 2007. He was 88. He was survived by his wife Denny, their two children, Bob and Jane, and five grandchildren.
