Details
Apprenticed to Messrs Lodge and Walton, of Preston, and began to practise at Clitheroe. In 1873 he moved to Lytham, where, attending only personal friends, he acted as JP for the County of Lancaster and was one of the Local Improvement Commissioners at Lytham until the change in the constitution of that Board. He died at Wood Villa, Lytham, after a long illness, on January 15th, 1883.
