Details
Born in August, 1801. He joined the Madras Army as Assistant Surgeon on April 21st, 1829, was promoted Surgeon on April 25th, 1844, Superintending Surgeon on January 1st, 1859, after seeing active service in Burma in 1852, for which he received the Medal. He retired on February 22nd, 1861, and died at 24 Cambridge Terrace, Hyde Park, on January 21st, 1892.
