Details
Studied at St Thomas's Hospital and then entered the Royal Navy. He was Assistant Surgeon at the Royal Naval Hospital, Cape of Good Hope, and to the Royal Marine Artillery, Eastney. He retired with the rank of Staff Surgeon on August 19th, 1870, and practised at Melksham, Wiltshire, where he was Surgeon to the Cottage Hospital. He died at Bishop's Teignton on December 12th, 1919.
