Details
Studied at St George's Hospital, acted as Surgeon to the Chesterfield Dispensary, and then settled in practice at Hackney, where he was District Surgeon to the Mutual Benefit Institute and to the Sceptre Life Association. He had lived on the west side of St Thomas's Square and in Mare Street. He died at 199 Richmond Road, Hackney, on January 14th, 1878. The photograph in the Fellows' Album may be his or that of William Hall, of Lancaster. Publication:- *Expeditious Writing, describing two shorthand methods*, London, 1864.
