Details
Richard Hey, Surgeon to the York County Hospital and to the Institute for the Blind, lectured on Surgery at the York School of Medicine and was Surgeon to the Female Penitentiary. He lived at Minsteryard, York, and died on September 1st, 1860, whilst visiting Ellesborough Rectory, Buckinghamshire. Publications:- "Successful Case of Ligature of the Common Iliac Artery for Aneurysm of the External Iliac." - *Med-Chir Trans*, 1844, xxvii, 325. "Bronchocele with Successful Cases treated by Seton and Tracheotomy." - *Assoc Med Jour*, 1855, ii, 993.
