Studied at St Thomas's Hospital and was for a time Superintendent of the Surrey County Lunatic Asylum, then of the North and East Ridings Lunatic Asylum, Clifton, Yorkshire. He died at Wambrook, near Chard, Somerset, on August 20th, 1874.
