Details
Born on May 21st, 1794, and was gazetted Assistant Surgeon of the Coldstream Guards on February 10th, 1814. He was present with his regiment at the Battle of Waterloo, and was on half pay from 1819-1825. On September 4th, 1836, he was promoted Surgeon to his regiment; on March 16th, 1838, Surgeon Major; and he retired on half pay on September 2nd, 1845. He had lived at 86 Mount Street, London, and died at Woodbank, Ayrshire, on June 28th, 1871.
