Details
Educated at University College, London, where, at the hospital, he was House Surgeon and Senior Demonstrator of Anatomy. He held various posts, and was at different times Senior House Surgeon at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, at the Bradford Infirmary, and at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Brighton. He was also Senior Demonstrator of Anatomy at Surgeons' Hall and Minto House, Edinburgh. About the year 1890 he joined the staff of Queen's College, Birmingham, where for some years he was Demonstrator of Anatomy. He then practised for many years in Edgbaston, and at the time of his death was Consulting Surgeon to Lycett's West Cycle Works, Birmingham. He died at his residence, 45 Francis Road, Edgbaston, on July 31st, 1913. Publications: *Intestinal Obstruction, a Pamphlet*, 1895. *Diseases of the Eye, a Manual for Senior Students*, 12mo, Edinburgh, 1896.
