Details
Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital. He practised at 2 New Bank Buildings, and at the time of his death he was Consulting Surgeon to the Stamford Hill and Stoke Newington Dispensary. He died at his country residence, Abbey Wood, Kent, on January 8th, 1863. A lithograph portrait of him, dated 1847, by Bangrist, is in the College Collection. He was the father of John Abernethy Kingdon (qv).
